Scholarship applications are now available for aspiring female students in the field of Construction through our Barbara Curtin Memorial Scholarship. Barbara Curtin was a dedicated member of NAWIC for many years and who worked very hard tirelessly to develop a path for herself and all women in the construction industry, our scholarship is an extension of what she believed in and is meant to give support and encouragement for women pursuing this path.  Congratulations to our 2015 recipients Angela Fuller, Pasadena City College and Ketsia Ellis, Cal Poly Pomona.

Women in Construction Week (WIC)

The focus of WIC Week is to highlight women as a visible component in the construction industry. It  also offers an opportunity for the chapter to give back to our community. WIC Week provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to emphasize the growing role of women in construction and to raise  awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
